Leveled Texts for Classic Fiction
These collections of passages adapted from classic fiction allow students at four different reading levels to read the same material and participate in class activities together. Support materials at the beginning of each book explain lesson plan options, standards alignment, and techniques for differentiation.
The four readability levels in this set are:
1.5 - 2.2
3.0 - 3.5
5.0 - 5.5
6.5 - 7.2
Passages in each book are grouped by the element of fiction to be taught: setting, character, plot, or language usage. Each passage ends with an a leveled reading prompt about that element. All materials are reproducible from the included CDs.
